Extra Curricular Activities
Outreach Committee Counsil
The Outreach Committee utilizes key resources and relationships to provide an avenue of collaboration and outreach to expand awareness and scope with all stakeholders. The Committee identifies opportunities to positively represent the Council of Midwest Malaysian Students’ purpose and mission to increase engagement with embassies and schools.
Math Tutor
I have found it to be infinitely satisfying. Many of my students are studying mathematics because they have to (for example it being a core subject in an engineering or science course), rather than out of a personal interest in it. To be able to see them move slowly from a “huh, what’s the use of this?” position, to that aha! moment when they begin to see the connections not only with their own discipline, but within mathematics itself, is one of the profundest joys I know.
